Nose
Bursting with vibrant fruit, this whisky opens with pineapple, red apples, lime, and raspberry jam, rounded by apricot. Earthy notes of forest floor, grain, and fennel honey ground the fruitiness, while salted pistachio, coconut, and thyme bring depth. Toasted marshmallow, floral muscat, and a touch of cola add sweetness, with jasmine and a fresh herbal lift completing the experience.
Palate
Silky and medium-bodied, this whisky offers immediate sweetness with notes of sweet orange, fennel honey, and Crème Brûlée. White chocolate adds creaminess, while apricot, pear, assorted berries, and pomegranate create a vibrant fruit profile, punctuated by bursts of citrus. Wafers and baked cheesecake provide a comforting base, with a subtle hint of musk adding intrigue.
Finish
The finish continues the sweetness of fennel honey, evolving into vanilla wafers and a saline minerality. A very full body persists, with malt sweetness, caramel, and cooking honey evoking grain biscuits. Coconut cream and custard tart bring richness, while buttery pastry adds texture. Ripe blood plum and prune juice deepen the fruitiness, lifted by lavender and mint for a herbal flourish.
