The Yarra Valley is a captivating land of contrasts: hills, valleys, vines, sheep, wine dogs, clouds, sun…it’s an ever-changing vista. About an hour’s drive East of Melbourne, the region has a deep history as Australia’s oldest wine growing district.

Ben’s sites are the culmination of his experience, his experiments and his exploration of Yarra Valley subregions. Farming across multiple sites is not copy and paste, and has always been driven by what could be termed good motivations.

The philosophy that underpins our entire business is the same philosophy that drives our winemaking – no bullshit, honesty always. We believe that great wines are made in the vineyard, and our role in the cellar is one of guidance rather than interference.
