Koerner 'The Clare' red | Clare Valley

$36.00

Bordeaux varieties made in a Loire style - dried rose perfume here, in with blackcurrant, plum, milk chocolate and a little mint. It’s medium-bodied, kind of light in a way, but densely packed with flavour and feels concentrated. Some tobacco and dried herb, cool acidity, pulverised rock tannin, and a long sweet red fruit and floral finish. A modern take on classic Bordeaux, crying out for slow roasted lamb shoulder.
