About Koerner
Koerner is a partnership between two brothers, Damon and Jono (Koerner), whose parents own an old vineyard in Clare. Their wine showcases two regions, Clare Valley and Adelaide Hills. Both areas are climatically unique and produce distinctly different wines. Their aim is to produce light, fresh, textured and well-structured wine with high drinkability.
Production note
15 year old vines grown on Terra Rossa soil. Hand harvested, eighteen hours of skin contact, indigenous yeast, fermented and aged in old Slavonian oak with nine months on solids. Minimal sulfur, and bottled without fining or filtration. 10.9% abv. 250 dozen made. SO2: 29F, 60T.
